How this site handles the information you share with me.

Who this covers

This is a personal site.

paulpisig.com is run by Paul Pisig, based in the Philippines. It is the public site for my work, journal, and inquiries. Listo (listo.ph) is a separate product with its own website and is not covered here.

What I collect

Only what you send, and what the server needs to run.

The contact form collects your name, email address, company (if you enter one), the type of work you selected, and your message. Sending the form is how you ask me to reply.

To stop the form from being used for a flood of messages, a temporary record of your IP address is stored for about one minute. It is then discarded.

The company that hosts this site may keep ordinary server logs: IP address, browser, the page requested, and the date and time. I do not use those logs to identify you, and I do not run advertising or tracking pixels on this site.

How it is used

To answer you, and to keep the site working.

Form submissions are emailed to me so I can respond. I keep that correspondence only as long as it is useful for the conversation or the work we discussed. I do not sell your information, and I do not share it for marketing.

Cookies

Nothing extra for visitors.

You do not need an account to read this site. WordPress may set cookies if someone logs in to manage the site. This theme does not set marketing or advertising cookies.

Other services

Fonts, video, and Listo live elsewhere.

The site loads typefaces from Google Fonts. The About page may embed YouTube videos. Your browser requests those files from Google under Google’s own policies. Links to Listo.ph leave this site.

Your rights

You can ask what I hold, and ask me to change or delete it.

Under the Philippines Data Privacy Act of 2012 (Republic Act No. 10173), you may request access to personal data I hold about you, ask for a correction, or ask that it be deleted. Write to the address below. You may also contact the National Privacy Commission.

Children

This site is not for children.

This site is not directed at children under 13, and I do not knowingly collect their information.

Updates

This page is the current policy.

If these practices change, I will update this page and the date on it.
